PROPOSAL RULES
At psytify.com, members of the community can connect with one another and benefit from one another’s experiences.
On social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, Psytify has a big following of people who want to improve their lives through healing, personal development, and spiritual development.
Since 2022, the site’s popularity has skyrocketed, thanks in large part to the honest and forthright contributions of members like yourself.
Readers of all ages and from all over the world are welcome to send a post that hasn’t been published anywhere else, even on the author’s own site, and a short bio about the author.
This isn’t some exclusive club that only the most knowledgeable and influential bloggers are allowed to join. Real folks who aren’t afraid to be open and honest with one another are welcome here.
HOW DO YOU WRITE A GOOD BLOG POST?
Psytify.com’s most-read articles share these characteristics:
- They are really intimate and private. They get right to the point, without glossing over important information or making oblique connections to the authors’ backgrounds. To the contrary, they evoke strong feelings in the reader by depicting an everyday situation that everyone can identify with.
- They make excavations below ground. Neither oversimplified nor trite, the counsel seems well thought out. It’s profoundly illuminating and makes you rethink all you know about yourself and the world.
- When appropriate, they are realistic and doable. It’s not necessary to include a checklist in every single post; in fact, some postings are more effective without one. When the post’s subject matter calls for specific instructions, though, the reader gets them.
WHY SHOULD I HELP PSYTIFY?
- First, you’ll be able to help a lot of people by spreading the word about your post via email and social media.
- Second, getting feedback from the Psytify audience in the form of comments and emails is a breeze, making for a satisfying experience all around.
- Third, your site bio and links are included in every single post. For the most part, authors report that having their work included on Tiny Buddha leads to an increase in website visitors and new subscribers.
- If you want to get the word out about a new book, podcast, or other product, update your Psytify contributor bio.
TIPS FOR WRITERS:
- Put a quote right at the beginning of the post. The Psytify quote archives provide certain options, but you’re not required to use them. Stay away from using song lyrics or other clichés if you must use a quote from somewhere else.
- Shoot for a length of 1,000 to 3,000 words.
- Give a detailed account of a personal experience you’ve had. Your post will have much more impact if you not only share your thoughts and lessons, but also explain how you came to discover them.
- Give advice and suggestions to help readers get through tough situations. The story should lead up to a clear message or lesson for readers, something that could make them go “Aha!” It doesn’t have to be a numbered list.
- Pick something that has to do with your development as a person but isn’t parenting, religion, the law of attraction, productivity, writing articles for an online business, publishing a book, mentoring, being or evolving into a therapist, working as a motivational speaker, making money, or being an entrepreneur.
- Stay away from plugging your blog, coaching business, book, or public speaking engagements. Even if you’re in the profession of mental health or self-improvement, your post should focus on the commonalities that unite you and your readers.
- Deliver work that is authentic, personal, and unique. When we say that a piece of writing is “original,” we mean that it has never been published before, not even on the author’s personal blog.
- Paragraphs should consist of no more than three sentences. Put a brief bio at the end of the post (75 words max). It’s up to you how many links you want to include.
- In your biography, only talk about yourself. Don’t try to sell a business, course, workshop, or service right in the post. The substance of the post, including any links, may be edited or deleted.
TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Within two weeks, you will hear back from us regarding whether or not we think your post would be a good fit for the blog at this time. You can try again with a different post if you don’t get a response the first time.
Before your post goes live, you may be requested to rewrite it to make it more compelling or clear, and your proposed title may be altered.
A moderator may alter your post’s style, punctuation, and readability at their discretion. Any substantial alterations will be brought to your attention for evaluation and approval before being implemented.
We appreciate the energy you bring to the table and your participation in the Tiny Buddha group.
A small tip: At the moment, people are thinking a lot about mindfulness, kindness, criticism, regret, and expectations.
